According to a release, participants
learned a lot about how to use Word, Excel,
and Power Point. Refreshments were also
provided.

Houston County earns exception writing test scores

The Houston County
Board of Education received
the results of the Georgia
High School Writing Test
from the State Board of
Education this week.
Overall Houston County
juniors scored better than
their peers across the
state. This is the first year
that the new curriculum
- the Georgia Performance
Standards - was used for
this writing test.
