■ WRLT AUDITIONS -
Warner Robins Little Theater will
be holding auditions for its fourth
show of the 2007-08 season, “The
Old Settler," Monday-Tuesday at
7:30 p.m. at the theater’s location
on 502 South Pleasant Hill Road
in Warner Robins.
The play is a drama by John
Henry Redwood, Dramatists Play
Service, and directed by Venis
GLover. The script calls for an all
black cast of one man and three
women.
The play's description; “This
is a gentle, sweet-natured com
edy about life in Harlem in 1943.
The story chooses to remember
the good without the bad, being
about the relationship of two ‘SO
- church-going spinsters or, as
they were called in those days,
Old Settlers, Elizabeth and her
sister, Quilly. The play revolves
around what happens when a
handsome young fellow, Husband
Witherspoon, newly arrived from
the Deep South, rents a room in
the apartment they share, while
he searches for his girlfriend.”
Play dates will be: Evening
performances - Feb. 15-16, 21-
23, 28-29 and March 1, 2008 at
8 p.m. Sunday matinees: Feb. 17
and 24 at 2:30 p.m.

Mid South Federal Credit Union VP of Development, DeAnn Dent, left, recently pre
sented a donation to the Director of Development and Public Relations for the Georgia
Industrial Children’s Home, Marisa Mortillaro. Dec. 10, the home hosted the Acoustic
Celtic Christmas show at the Cox Capital Theatre in Macon. The show featured spiri
tual, Celtic, southern and traditional seasonal songs, complimented by stories and
recitations. The donation was made to help the GICH in their ongoing efforts.

Sealed Bids; Sealed bids for construction of the Jane Drive Lift Station for the
City of Centerville will be received until 2:00 p.m., January 18, 2008, at the Cen
terville City Hall Building, 300 Church Street, Centerville, Georgia 31028, Attn:
Mike Brumfield, Utility Superintendent, at which time and place they will be pub
licly opened and read. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for the
receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days.
Work to he Done: The work to be done shall consist of furnishing all labor,
equipment and materials necessary to install the Jane Drive Lift Station and associ
ated force main for the City of Centerville as shown on the plans.

tract Documents are on file at Centerville City Hall. Copies may be obtained from

fundable).
Bonds: All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than
five percent (5%) of the bid amount The successful bidder, if awarded the Contract,
will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred
percent (100%) of the Contract amount and a Payment Bond in the amount of one
hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount.
This project will adhere to Georgia local Government Public Works construction
law Ch. 91 Title 36.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and
to re-advertise.

Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the media

four parent/guardian representa
