in Presidential Primary

Early voting is under
way for the Super Tuesday
Presidential Preference
Primary in Georgia. You can
vote Tuesday from 7 a.m.
to 7 p.m. at polling places
across the county, or you can
vote through Friday at one of
two locations.
The early voting locations
are at the Board of Elections
in the Houston County
Government Building (the
old courthouse) in downtown
Perry, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.,
and at the Houston County
Annex on Richard Russell
Parkway in Warner Robins
from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
There will be no advance vot
ing on Monday.
Georgia is one of 19 states
that will hold a presidential
preference primary for both
parties on “Super Tuesday”,
while five other states will
hold caucuses or elections for
only one party.
Voters should be aware
that some have hopefuls
have withdrawn their candi
dacy since their names were
placed on the ballot.
Voters can choose to
vote on either party’s bal
lot regardless of prior party
preference. There is no party
registration in Georgia, and
voters can choose the ballot
of either (but not both) par
ties, regardless of past pri
mary party choice.

Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton,
Chris Dodd John Edwards,
Mike Gravel, Dennis J.
Kucinich, Barack Obama and

1943. The brick depot was
built by the Southern Railway
Company to replace the 1889
wooden depot that was locat
ed across the street.

Hicks passed away Sunday.
