Joiner, Fetchik wedding
plans are announced
Lee and Carol Joiner of Bonaire announce the
engagement of their daughter, Andrea Carol Joiner,
to Jonathan Edward Fetchik of Abilene, Texas, son of
Tom and Donna McCluskey of Byron.
The wedding will be at Cross Point Baptist Church
in Perry at 3 p.m., March 8, 2008. A reception will
follow at the Eagle Springs Community Center.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of James and
Montine Joiner of Pelham and the late Malcolm and
Marie Thigpen of Rockledge. A graduate of Warner
Robins High school, she is a student at Macon State
College.
The groom-to-be is the grandson of the late James
McCluskey and Gloria Crowley, Annette McCluskey of
Panama City, Fla., and John Crowley of Knoxville, Tenn. He
is a graduate of Warner Robins High School, and is serving
in the U.S. Air Forde.
Celtic music festival planned
in Dahlonega this spring
The Dahlonega-Lumpkin
County Chamber of
Commerce presents the first
annual Celtic Music Festival
with performances at the
Historic Holly Theatre.
Highlights of the festival are
concerts by the traditional
Irish bands Altan, Highland
Way, Emerald Rose and
Shamrock. Festival goers
will also be entertained with
Celtic-themed workshops,
bagpipers, storytellers and
arts and crafts vendors set
up throughout downtown
Dahlonega and around the
historic town square. To
