Robbery suspect arrested

Joshua Nathan Meyers,
25, and of Warner Robins,
according to a release, has
been arrested and charged
with robbery by intimida
tion and terroristic threats
in connection with events
occurring at Suntrust Bank
on Watson Blvd., Monday.
According to the release,
bank employees stated that

a note and
demanded
cash. The note claimed he
had a weapon and would
use it if the bank did not
comply. There were no inju
ries during the incident. An
undisclosed amount of cash
was taken.
Meyers is currently being
held in Houston County
jail.

Museum cuts ribbon on Z educational rooms

The Museum of Aviation,
according to a release, cut
the ribbon on two new edu
cational rooms March 13
- a National Aeronautics
and Space Administration
Regional Educator Resource
Center and an Air Traffic
Control Center Simulation
Room.
The Educator Resource
Center, according to the
release, is the only one in
the state of Georgia and will
provide free NASA-produced
printed materials, dvds, vid
eos and cd-roms to public,
private and home school
elementary, secondary and
university educators as well
as youth organizations like
Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and
Church Groups. Resources
include information on space
fight, astronomy, earth sci
ence physics, rocketry, living
in space, aeronautics, plan
etary exploration and more.
