live on? There are two the
ories. One is that a nucle
ar war will bring about the
end. The powerful impact
of nuclear bombs could
knock the earth out of its
orbit, causing it to spin
toward the sun and a cer

possibility is that the sun
will deplete all its hydro

will expand and swallow
up everything in the entire
solar system. When that
happens, planet earth and
mankind will be incinerat

we can really know.

sky as a reminder that the
world would never again be
destroyed by water.
When will the end come?
It could be tomorrow, next
week, next year or a thou
sand years from now. The
scripture states that “With
the Lord a day is like a
thousand years, and a thou
sand years are like a day.”
Before the end of time,
Jesus said he will return and
rapture his church: “The
Son of Man will come on
the clouds of the sky, with
power and great glory. And
he will send his angels with
a loud trumpet call, and
they will gather his elect
from the four winds, from
one end of the heavens to
the other.” When will this
occur? Jesus said, “No one
knows that day or hour, not
even the angels in heaven,
nor the Son, but only the
Father... Therefore keep
watch, because you do not
know the day or the hour.”

Frequently, I hear or
read comments that I wish
I had made. Unfortunately,
I did not have that privi

privilege of sharing things I
wish I had said. Following
are a few of my “Wish I’d
Said That” comments.
“I’ve never met a per
son, I don’t care what his
condition, in whom I could
not see possibilities. I don’t
care how much a man may
consider himself a failure,
I believe in him, for he can
change the thing that is
wrong in his life any time
he is prepared and ready to
do it.
Whenever he develops the
desire, he can take away
from his life the thing that
is defeating it. The capacity
for reformation and change
lies within. “ - Preston
