are Still Serving”, Robins Air Force Base
will hold Military Retiree Appreciation
Day Nov. 15.
It will be to honor all retired military
members, spouses, surviving spouses and
card carrying family members from all
military services.
It will start with a pay-as-you-go break
fast from 6:30-8 a.m. in Wynn Dining
Hall.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
City of Perry
The City of Perry will hold a public hearing at 6:00 p.m. on November 18, 2008.
The hearing will be held in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building lo
cated at 1211 Washington Street, Perry, 31069. The purpose of this hearing will
be to obtain citizens input into the formulation of an Urban Redevelopment Plan
for the City of Perry.
The general scope of this project is to establish a redevelopment plan in order to
address slum and blight, underdevelopment, and adequate housing for the City of
Perry. The plan will also utilize potential local, state, and federal programs avail
able to accomplish the goals established in the plan. Boundaries for the redevelop
ment area will be made available at this hearing.
Persons with special needs should contact Lee Gilmour at 478-988-2700 prior
to November 18, 2008. Mr. Gilmour is located at 1211 Washington Street, Perry,
GA 31069, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday,
except holidays.
