its scholarship award program

awarded in memory of Logan

OBITUARIES
WRliam W. "Bubba" Cox, Jr.
William W. Cox Jr., lovingly known as “Bubba,” born Dec. 1,
1952, lost his life in a tragic car accident Nov. 9 in Gallup, N.M.
He was preceded in death by his father, William W. Cox, Sr.
He leaves behind his mother, Ruth L. Cox of Salley, SC; his
sister, Frances Cox Whitten of Salley, S.C.; his two children,
Kory Cox of League City, Texas, and Stacy Cox Mitchell of
Houston Texas; three grandchildren and his wife Anita Cox.
Cox attended Sylvester High School in Sylvester. He moved
to Texas in the early 1970’s with the construction company
that built the Amoco Refinery in Texas City, Texas, staying on
to become part of the maintenance crew. He was dearly loved
and will be missed.
A memorial service was held Tuesday at Crowder Funeral
Home in Dickinson, Texas.
