I have been meaning to
tell you this about one of my
tennis friends who is now
finally a grandmother, Lorna
Cabasares. Her daughter,
Lee and husband Dave Wolk
are proud parents. Caleb
Wolk was born Oct. 1. You
all know the granddaddy
too, Dr. Caba. I would bet
money that Caba and Lorna
will spoil this child since it
is the first grandchild in the
family.

Question
Do you think regifting
is thrifty or just cheap?
Answer
Regifting can be a good
holiday experience when
handled with tact. After
several regifting faux pas
as a recipient, this is not
one of my practices as a gift

• Don’t mention it. There
is no need to disclose this
information.
• Don’t forget to update
the wrapping paper and

Question
What the most impor

to re-gifting?
Answer

Answer
It is rude to bring-addi
tional guests if they were
not invited. This creates
an awkward position for the
gracious host whose plans
must now be altered. Any
additional guests should
allow the host to extend
them an invitation.
RSVP—“please reply” to

know if you are attending
usually within a day or two
of receipt of the invitation.
