What
makes
holidays
special
My father told me
many times, “Son
you are lucky if
you have two REAL friends
in a lifetime”. In real friends,
he meant “unconditional
friends”. We have so many
superficial friends now days,
I guess it has always been
that way. You know what I’m
talking about, the friends
that always come around
when they think you can do
something for them and then
you never see them again.
We all have them at different
levels and times in our lives.
The Christmas season
makes me so thankful that I
have several real good friends
and hope the Good Lord
blesses each one of them this
season. I won’t name them,
they know who they are. If
I were to tell you, someone
would try to mess it up.
Oh, I have my enemies too!
And during this Christmas
season I hope they have a
blessed Christmas season
also. After all, what would
the Road Runner be without
the Coyote or Bugs Bunny
without Elmer Fudd?
When I say enemies, I mean
adversaries in the Business/
Political world. I don’t hate
anyone or have any enemies
from a personal standpoint.
Well, at least I don’t!
I am also blessed to have
such a loving family. My fam
ily has always been close at
Christmas time. This will be
the first Christmas I have
ever had without one of my
parents, so from that stand
point it will be a sad one.
But, God seems to know
how to make things better.
Just before I lost my Dad, I
met my sister that I hadn’t
known for 47 years.
It has been such a

Online payments would
require a nominal transac

parent, so parental input is
especially important to know
if this service is of value.
Parents would also be able
to track - at no charge - any

ance in their meals account.
The monitoring service is
independent of paying fees
online; parents could use
