AM JONES lives again! We of
the South feel that that com
parison is strong enough for
any living man; while the peo-

“Billy” Sunday is working such won
ders under God, feel that his like has
never been seen before.
For nearly six weeks now eighteen
to twenty thousand people have been
jamming the mammoth Tabernacle in
Pittsburg every day to hear this won
derful “Baseball Evangelist” as he is
called.
With methods that repel many and
attract thousands more, with rock-rib

Deity of Christ, Heaven for those who
accept him and Hell for the wicked
who reject him, and with a power
over men which God has given to
few men in all the history of Chris

TRY THIS FOR YOUR HEALTH
For diseases which do not readily
yield to drug treatment, such as
chronic dyspepsia, indigestion, rheu
matism, Bright’s disease, gall stones,
u-ic acid poisoning, and diseases of
the kidney and liver, the best physi
cians send their wealthy patients to
the famous mineral springs. Some
even spend months at the Spas of Eu
rope and are almost invariably cured
O" greatly benefited.
I believe that the Shivar Spring is
the greatest mineral spring ever dis
covered and I believe it so firmly that
I offer to send you enough water for
a three week’s treatment (two five
gallon demijohns) on my guarantee
that if you do not say that you are
benefited I will refund the price. You
would hardly believe me if I told you
that only about two out of a thousand,
on the average, say that they have re
ceived no benefit. The water is cur
ing thousands. It cured me when my
friends and physicians thought that
my case was incurable and I am will
ing and anxious for you to match your
faith in the Spring against my pocket
book. If I win you become a life
friend of the Spring. If I lose I will
be sorry for you, but I will appreciate
your courtesy in giving the water a
trial and will gladly refund your
money on rquest. Read and sign the
following letter;

Pittsburg, Jan. 26. —More than 40,-
000 men yesterday pledged themselves
to support any movement to down the
liquor traffic as a result of the most
remarkable sermon the Rev. William
A. Sunday has preached in his Pitts
burg campaign. “Booze, or Get on
the Water Wagon,” was the topic. Mr.
Sunday preached it twice, once in
the afternoon and again in the even
ing. It was estimated that more than
60.000 heard him and there were thou
sands who could not get into the build
ing.
At the morning service, when the
evangelist preached on “The Holy
Spirit,” the crowd numbered fully 18,-
000. The afternoon brought more
than 20,000 men to the tabernacle and
the night crowd was equally as large.
At the morning service 45 persons ac
cepted the invitation to profess con
version. Nearly 200 came forward at
the end of the afternoon sermon and
more than 300 in the evening.
Men well-known about town as
habitues of cases, others who have
been promoters of prize fights or have
performed in the fistic ring and still
others who are leaders in business and
financial life were in line. Some came
weeping; some were led by friends. A
father was seen leading his son and a
son his father. Hundreds who had
been seated in the rear of the taber
nacle struggled to reach the front, but
were unable to get through the crowd.
The morning service ended about
noon and a half hour later the taber
nacle was filled. Thousands of men
stood in the aisles. They fought with
one another for standing room. For
an hour before the service began the
police struggled with the crowd to
get the aisles clear.

THE
AMERICAN '
COTTON CHOPPER
It is the greatest labor and money saving feature in cotton growing. With I
I it one man and a mule at $2 a day can chop the same amount of cotton that I
eight men at $8 a day can chop by hand, saving $6 a day. In one week I
it more than saves its cost—s3s. The American Cotton Chopper chops I
the cotton, dirts it and cultivates it all in one operation, at the rate of about I
one acre every hour and a half. Spaces hills any distance
apart desired from 12 to 21 inches. Can be quickly con-
verted from a chopper into a cultivator by adding extra
teeth or plows. Besides reducing the cost of chopping
i 75 per cent, it eliminates entirely the risk of crop losses jfr
owing to shortage of hands or shiftless labor. Jr I
