missing.

reported the theft of her

Street residence, where a
man reported copper water
lines, copper fittings and a
sink line had been cut on
the residence. He also stat
ed an upright furnace was
dismantled and the copper
cut from it.

owns that is currently being remodeled.

lane on University Parkway at Loganville
Highway, where a man reported his 1996
Honda Accord was side-swiped by the
driver of another vehicle.
•harassment at the Winder Police
Department, East Midland Avenue, Wind
er. A man reported another male was try
ing to contact him and accuse him of hav
ing an affair with the other male’s wife.
•theft by shoplifting at Walmart on
Atlanta Highway, Winder, where an
employee reported a male allegedly took
$377 in merchandise from the store with
out attempting to pay for the items.
•theft by shoplifting at Target on Logan
ville Highway, Bethlehem, where a female
reportedly took a cell phone valued at $60
from the store without paying for it.
•simple battery and theft by shoplift
ing at Walmart, Atlanta Highway, Wind
er, where a male reportedly took $144
in merchandise from the store without
attempting to pay for the items. Two
employees reported when they tried to
detain the male he tried to flee from them,
striking one of the employees in the ribs.
•theft by shoplifting at Walmart, Atlanta
Highway, Winder, where a man allegedly
took $47 in merchandise from the store
without paying for the items.
•burglary, criminal damage to property
and theft by taking at an Atlanta High
way SE, Winder, residence, where a man
reported someone had pried open a latch
to the crawl-space door and removed cop
per piping and the copper air conditioning
coil, all valued at $2,000, from the home
that is up for sale.
•possession of methamphetamine at
the Exxon Carl-Bethlehem on Loganville
Highway, Bethlehem, where a man was
found passed out inside a vehicle parked
at the store.
•entering an automobile or other motor
vehicle with the intent to commit a theft
or felony and theft by taking at a Tucker
Road, Winder, residence, where a man
reported observing “what appeared to be
the leg of a white female subject, wearing
sandals, sticking out of the door” of his
Chevrolet Tahoe parked in his yard. He
said while he was inside calling 9-1-1
his wife heard someone running away,
through the woods, adjacent to where the
vehicles were parked.
A Toyota Tundra truck was also entered,
but nothing appeared to be missing. The
complainant said several items had been
taken from the Tahoe, including a 9mm
semiautomatic pistol.
•criminal damage to property at a Hill’s
Pointe Road, Bethlehem, residence, where
a woman reported, as her friend was back
ing the complainant’s 2003 Saturn Vue out
of her street, the rear window shattered.
•failure to obey a stop sign or yield sign
after stopping and driving without a valid
driver’s license on Dee Kennedy Road
at Fleeman Road, Hoschton, where the
driver of a 2007 Cadillac Escalade drove
through a stop sign without stopping.
•harassing phone calls at a Manning
Gin Road, Bethlehem, residence, where a
man reported a female at this location had
shorted him on his last paycheck and “he
was going to take her to court.”
•entering an automobile or other motor
vehicle with the intent to commit a theft
or felony, financial transaction card theft
and theft by taking at a Doc McLocklin
Road, Statham, residence, where a woman
reported the theft of her purse from her
vehicle.
•criminal trespass at a Pleasant Hill
Church Road SE, Winder, residence,
where a dispute between neighbors was
reported. A man reported for several
months his neighbor had been driving her
truck through his driveway damaging his
grass and yard.
•hit and run; duty of the driver to stop
at or return to the scene of an accident
and striking a fixed object at a Chancey
Circle NW, Winder, location, where a man
reported damage to his mailbox.
•theft by shoplifting at Walmart, Atlan
ta Highway, Winder, where two males
reportedly took beer and wine valued at
$87 and exited the store without paying
for the beverages.
•disturbance at a Octavia Court, Wind
er, residence, where a woman reported
there was no argument or fight, she just
wanted to leave and she didn’t think her
husband would let her leave.
•criminal trespass, injuring, tearing
down or destruction of mailboxes and
injuring, defacing or destroying mail at a
Midland Court, Winder, residence, where
a woman reported damage to her mailbox.
•criminal trespass, injuring, tearing

a man reported damage to his mailbox.
•theft by shoplifting at Walmart on
Atlanta Highway, Winder, where a female
reportedly took $12 in items from the
store without paying.

Tallassee Lane, Statham, where a man
reported his mailbox had been knocked
onto the ground.
•theft by shoplifting at Walmart, Atlanta
Highway, Winder, where a male report
edly selected $112 in merchandise and
placed it into a backpack carried by a
female, without paying for the items.
The male also concealed two items
inside his boots.
•failure to report an accident with inju
ry or death on Golf Course Road at Hog
Mountain Road, Winder, where a vehicle
involved in an accident was found in a
ditch.
•possession of a Schedule I controlled
substance at Walmart, on Atlanta High
way NW, Winder, where a store employee
found drugs in a purse that was left in a
shopping cart.

The Auburn Police Department recently responded
to the following incidents:

•deer in the roadway on Highway 8 at Apalachee
Church Road.
•criminal trespass at an Oakleaf Drive residence,
where a man reported damage to his mailbox.
•harassing communications at a Jockey Court res
idence, where a man reported he and his girlfriend
were being harassed by his brother.
•theft by taking at a Greentree Drive residence,
where a man reported the tag missing from his vehi
cle.
•outstanding warrant at an Oak Ridge residence,
•outstanding warrant on Highway 8 at Auburn Park
Drive, where a traffic stop was initiated on the driver
of a 2002 GMC Yukon.

out of the store with a bag
of merchandise she had not
