Sheriffs office seizes narcotics cash and guns

in reference to a long-term
narcotics investigation of a
residence in Barrow Coun
ty-
A resident, Jason Paul
Gordon. 145 Patrick Mill
Road SW, Winder, was
arrested after a short pur
suit and Johnny Cue Hol
liday of Jefferson was
arrested after a high speed
chase which ended in
Oconee County.
Both individuals are
being held at the Barrow
County Detention Center.
The investigators were
able to seize approximate
ly two kilograms of crystal
methamphetamine (ICE),
a trafficking amount of
heroin, and approximately
one ounce of marijuana.
In addition to the narcot
ics. approximately $15,000
in cash and three firearms
were also seized in refer
ence to this investigation.
Gordon is charged
with obstruction of a law
enforcement officer, pos
session of a controlled
substance with the intent
to distribute, trafficking
of methamphetamine and
possession of heroin.
Holliday was charged
with multiple traffic vio
lations in reference to
the pursuit, possession of
methamphetamine (more
than one ounce), posses
sion of marijuana (more
than one ounce), posses
sion of a firearm by a con
victed felon and obstruc-
