Sept. 15 at The Chimneys Course
Golf tournament to benefit Peace Place
A fundraiser golf tour
nament to benefit Peace
Place Inc. is set for Thurs
day, Sept. 15. at The Chim
neys Golf Course.
Tee off is at 1 p.m. for
the four-person scramble.
The fee is $75 per player
or $300 per team with $5
mulligans (two maximum
per person) and $15 for
20-feet of string (one per
team).
All proceeds from the
golf tournament will ben
efit Peace Place Inc., a
domestic violence program
that serves survivors of
family violence in Banks,
Barrow and Jackson coun
ties.
“We would like to invite
the public to come out and
enjoy an afternoon of golf,
friendly competition and
fun while raising money
and raising awareness for
domestic violence.” said
