Dear Voter:
It has been impossible to meet and greet each of you, so I would like to take
this opportunity to tell you about myself.
I have resided in Barrow County since 1962, when I married my wife Jane.
I served four years in the U.S.A.F., from 1966-1970. My wife and I have two children,
Marsha Brown Wages and William Todd Brown. I am a member of First Baptist Church
of Winder, where I am presently teaching an adult mens Sunday School class.
I have always had an interest in Barrow County and its development. I served
on the first Planning Commission in our county in 1978. Since that time, I have served
two additional terms on the Barrow County Planning Commission.
I have served three terms as Barrow County District 2 Commissioner: 1979-
1984; 2000-2004; 2004-2008.1 am proud of the accomplishments that I was involved in
during my terms in office as District 2 Commissioner.
I would be more than happy to talk with you regarding my record. I invite you

sustain them over the weekend until
they have school meals again.

high school.
