Parents Morning Out is
a weekly program that pro
vides childcare for children
six months old through pre
school age.
The cost is $10 per child
(sibling discount). Partici
pants will pay by the month.

Room 131 in the Pasley
Family Life Center at the
back of the church located

for Governor’s Honors program
This year, the two Barrow County high
schools submitted 29 candidates for Georgia’s
Governor’s Honors Program.
“This is a prestigious program with a highly
competitive application process,” said Melinda
Kay, Barrow County School System director
of secondary education.
Barrow County was assigned a quote of 25
nominees, a number determined by the stu
dent population of the sophomore and junior
classes.
“All 29 candidates demonstrated, through
their written applications and personal inter
views, that they are truly talented, well-round
ed and quite extraordinary young men and
women,” Kay said.
Of the 29 nominated, the 25 selected to
move on to the state level of competition are:
