Auburn man charged with obstruction, gun violations
The Barrow County
Sheriff’s Office arrested an
Auburn man Friday night and
charged him with numerous
offenses.
Joshua Keith Powell, 30, 8
Woodland Drive, was charged
with two counts of failure to
obey a traffic control device;
four counts of possession of
a firearm or knife during the
commission of or attempt to
commit certain felonies; four
counts of receipt possession
or transfer of a firearm by
a convicted felon or felony
first offender; two counts of
improper passing in an area
marked by signs or road
markings; two counts of driv
ing on the wrong side of the
road; willful obstruction of
law enforcement officers; two
counts of theft by receiving
stolen property; possession
of marijuana; driving while
driver’s license is suspended
or revoked; three counts of
failure to obey a stop sign or
yield after stopping; fleeing
or attempting to elude a law
enforcement officer for a felo
ny offense; removing/affixing
a tag with the intent to con
ceal the identity of a vehicle;
and seat belt violations.
