The complainant stated
the man “became enraged
and began yelling at him.”
He said he tried to explain
to the man to “just come
back,” but the man balled
up his fist and drew it
back like he was going
to hit the complainant in
the face and the man said
“give it to me or I’m going
to punch you.” The com
plainant said the man then
started punching a glass
display case that was on
the counter full of items.
He said the display case
shattered immediately.
The complainant said the
man continued to punch
and push the display case
until everything was on the
floor behind the counter.
The complainant stated
he grabbed the phone and
ran towards the back room
to call 9-1-1. He said the
man left the store and he
(complainant) went out
side to get a tag number
and the man pulled back
around and drove towards
the complainant.

age to a light and vent at
the rear of the building.
The employee stated he
believed someone was try
ing to break into the busi
ness at night.

where a woman reported
her husband noticed some
fraudulent charges on
their bank account totaling
$1,383.
•theft by shoplifting at
Walmart, Atlanta High
way NW, Winder, where
two female had reportedly
stuffed items under their
jackets and attempted to
leave the store without
paying. The items were
valued at $741.
•damage to property
on Loganville Highway
at Exchange Boulevard,
Bethlehem, where a man
reported damage to his
2011 Ford F-150 truck that
was caused when debris
in the roadway from an
earlier crash was struck by
a passing vehicle causing
it to strike the driver’s door
of his truck.
•driving under the influ
ence (DUI) of alcohol,
speeding and open con
tainer violation at Walmart,
Winder, where the driver
of a 2000 Dodge Caravan
was stopped for traveling
80 mph in a 55-mph speed
zone.
•entering an automobile
or other motor vehicle with
the intent to commit a theft
or other felony and theft
by taking at a Lois Lane,
Winder, residence, where a
woman reported someone
entered her 2008 Mazda 6
and stole a Charter Arms
Lavender Lady .38 Special
revolver, valued at $380.

being harassed by a man
on social media to pay him
$100 to keep some pho
tos from being “spread all
over the internet.”

a female had attempted to
take multiple items from
the store without paying.

brake fluid into the engine.

father had confronted him
in the store and attempted
to start an argument with
him.

reported someone borke
into a trailer on his busi

reported the theft of her
purse. She said the purse
was taken out of her 2004
Ford Freestar while she
was paying for gas.

a man reported the theft
of lumber, nails and ham

where a man reported two
broken window panes, a
broken toilet tank and dam
age to the hot water heater
in his rental house. He said
the refrigerator had been
turned over and water had
flooded the crawl space of
the residence as well.

Winder, where a man
reported finding a burned
Lincoln Navigator.

a male was located after
he ran from Auburn Police
Department officers
attempting to stop him for
driving a stolen vehicle.

stated the male was at her

ing home and he would
not leave after being asked
to do so.

where a man reported
someone had used his
Sears card without his
knowledge or permission.
•duty to report striking
an unattended vehicle at
Walmart, Atlanta High
way NW, Winder, where a
woman reported someone
hit her 2010 Buick Enclave
while it was parked at this
location.

possession of marijua
na at The Home Depot.

Bethlehem, where a fight
was reported. An employ
ee reported he went to the
restroom and was con
fronted by a male demand
ing all his money and his
phone. The employee said
the male pushed something
hard into his stomach and
told him it was a gun. The
employee said he became
angry and punched the
male suspect and the two
began fighting until anoth
er employee came into the
restroom and the male sus
pect ran out of the store.
The male suspect told offi
cers he was at the store to
purchase marijuana from
the employee.

weeks ago a roofing com

looking for hail damage.
He said the roofing compa
ny representative told him
he had hail damage and
would need a new roof. The
complainant stated he filed
a claim with his insurance
company and they sent an
adjuster out to inspect the
roof. He said the adjuster
reported the only damage
was “mechanical damage”
caused intentionally by a
person. The complainant
said he believed the roof
ing company representa
tive caused the damage in
an attempt to get the com
plainant to file a claim.
