HI Y NEWS
By Hoyt Hulsey
The members of the Hi Y Club
met in their club-rooms at the court
heuse last Tuesday night at 7:30.
Although the regular meeting time
of the club is eight o’clock, we met
a little earlier in order to finish all
business .before the time for revival
services.
After a short, snappy business
meeting presided over by our presi
dent, Mr, Culbertson suggested that
all members present go to the re
vival services with him. A large per
centage of those present attended
the Methodist revival services with
him,
Friday night almost every member
of the Hi Y Club attended the ser
vices in a compact body.
Our last meeting, heretofore, was
presided over by Mr. Greene, a mem
ber of our advisory board.
Mr. Greene gave us a heart-to
heart talk on club matters and gave
many practical suggestions as to the
furnishing of our club-rooms.
We wish to express our sincere
appreciation of Mr. Greene and to
thank him for his interest in us and
our work.
Our motto is that ‘“good clubs
should be seen and not heard” and
tho we may not make much noise,
vou just keep an eye on us and sec
what we're going to do.
Believes in advertising, both
through the local paper and
service. We have added an
other chair to take care of our
customers.
