Prisoner Jailed For Nine
Years Through Mistake
TRENTON, N. J. hrgpy 21—(P)—
After serving eight years of a life
sentence for wife murder, Raffaelo
Morello has won parole from state
prison because he learned to speak
Englizh there, The court of pardons
has discovered that his conviction
was the result of a misinterpretation
of the story he told at the time of
his arrest.
Morello had been married only a
short time before the entrance of
America in the World War, and
when the drafting of men for service
was begun, his wife informed him
that she would kill herself if he was
called, Notice came from the draft
board for him to report, and he,
thinking that she would carry out
her threat, prepared to go. Then one
day just before his departure, his
wife was found dead from a re
volver shot and Morello lying by her
side, with a self-inflicted wound.
At the coroner’s inquiry, he said
in his bruken English that he was
responsible for his wife’s death, and
his statement was understood as a
confession that he had killed her.
Since going to prison he has master
ed the language, and go has been
able to convinee the authorities of
his innocence.

It is your own fault if you allow corns
or callous. epots to remaln on your feot.
No matter Whether you have tried ad

have & VASCULAR corn that nothing
but “END-O-CORN" will remove. Liquid
sorn cures are not only unsatisfactory
and worthless in many cases, but they
are also often dangerous.
“END-O-CORN” is absolutely harm
less and will not burn or redden the
serrounding flesh. It is far more pleag- -
ant to use and also much more depend
able than any other corn remedy. Every
package contains a money guarantec
