The planes completed a 1,300-<
mile {light from Pensacola down the
west coast of Florida and up t'ne!

During the flight pilots of the
planes drew charts of the coast,

tainly the first trip of the sort ever

Ballot System
NEW YORK, May 25—The New
York Times sayvs that there is a
strong sentiment among members of
the democratic national committee
for the abrogation of the rule re
quiring a two-thirds vote to nomi
nate a candidate for president in a
national convention.
Telegraphic inquiries to the com
mittee members were answered by
28, with 25 favoring such a change,
seven oppesing it, and one non-com
mittal. The newspaper says that four
other members not answering pre
viously have state they favored the
change. |

rogation of the unit ruie, under
which delegates chosen at state con--
ventions instead of elected at direct

The police believe that Raabe shot
himself, and his daughter, because
he feared he no longer could carrf
a living and at the same time carve
for her as he had been doing since
the death of his wife a year ago.
