ly in northeastern Ohio,
The independent bakers of north
castern Ohio, through®* Arthur W
Doyle, of Akron, Ohio, Mr. Davey
said, complained among other things
that the general and continental com
panies were charging only 10 cents
a loal wholesale for bread in north
castern Ohio, while at the same time
they were asking 11 1-2 cents in near
by points, such as Tiledo, Cincinna
ti and in western Pennsylvania and
Michigan. The purpose, he caid, was
to destroy competition in norcheast
ern Ohio. |
