THESE FRIENDS
I do not think that I could go
Along the way of life, attain its
ends—
At least I should not travel far I
know,
Wihout these friends!
I could not hiave real happiness-— ‘
Here where the frequent cloud with
sunshine blends —
Unless I had cach day my life to
*> Dless
These loyal friends.
. - ‘
Aud o my chiefest prayer is here,
“Help me for failure now to make
amends,
And be in all things worthy to ap
pear
True to these friends!”

strong, white bristles six inches long,
