Above is the architect's sketch of the handsome new junior dormitory now under construction at
Darlington School, Rome, Ga,
The charter of this school stipulates that it shall not befrun for financial gain. The new dormitory
has therefore heen provided b{ philanthropic friends of Darlington who are interested in the very
cvident results being accomplished by its unselfish methods. The buildinf is of the English Renais
sance type, very similar to the new main building now housing the school, and it is being rushed to
completion for use during the fall term.
Darlington is a fully accredited school and has had a remarkable record in preparing students for
college. During the first ten years of its existence only one graduate failed to enter college and
throughout its twenty years practically every graduate has attended g higher institution.
