THE CORDELE DISPATCH
Whether the Richland tire you secleet is the oversize Heavy
Car Type Cord, the Standard Cord, or the Fabrie, you can
depend on obtaining super-satistactory service,
Richland balanced construction insures that.
The tread, cushion, fabrie, side walls and beads of this rug
ged, husky tire ail wear in unison. No part weakens prema
turely.
As a result, Richland users enjoy a cost per mile of service
that has no parallel in the tire industry, That is the reason
for the commonly heavd expression *“*lt’s hard to sell a Rich
land user any other tire.”
HANGMAN USES HIS HANDS
TO BREAK NECK OF VICTIM
CRACOW, August 30—A scene ve
calling the days of the Spanish in
quisition and one of grisly torture
was enacted at the hanging of a man
named Jellinski for the murder of a
young factory girl.
The condemned man was lead to
the public gallows screaming and
swearing at the morbidly curious
throngs. Jellinski loudly refused the
i lazt rites of the church as the for
mally attired executioner, spatted,
: wearine white gloves, a cut-away cut
l and a white tic. passed the rope
!r'.!»cui hiz neck. Th~ executioner’s
assistant, adso attired like a diplos
mat, then pulled the trop, but one
;rn]:o suddenly broke.
i The immaculate executioner grasp
j ed the limp body of the mun and
"broke Jelinzki’s neck with his own
i oloved hands as the hysterical,
; ¢hrieking mob looked on.
! When the gallows was dismantled
; the mob rushed forward to get
' yieces of rope for souvenirs. The po
lice dispersed the mob, saving the
executioner and the gallows cnly
" with difficulty.
