Jellied Veal Salad
Dissolve one tablespoon gelatine
in two tablespoons of cold water and
stir into it one cup of veal stock
seasoned to taste and heated to boil
ing point. When it begins to thicken
stir in three tablespoons of mayon
naise dressing. Add a cup of chopned
veal and a cup of ¢old boiled nea.
Pour into a mold, chill, then serve
on lettuce. Serve with potato chips
if an entire cold meal is wanted,
or with creamed potatoes if a hot
dish is wanted.
Stewed Pears ;
Peel and halve' pears, taking ouvt
the core. Make syrup of one-third
cup sugar to one cup water. Drop

given Miss Esther Bell, popular
bride-clect on Wednesday afternoon
by members of the Baptist Philathea
clags of which Miss Bell is an oflicer
