British Scientists Thrilled
LONDON, September 29—(P)~-
British anthropologists were th'illed
today by the report from Java of the
finding of a complete skull of pithe
canthropus erectus. Sir Arthur
Keith, one of the best known aathori
ties on the subject, is cutting short
2 holoday to return to London in
hope of getting more complete in
formation regarding the find.
Miss Mildred Tidesley, whe Thas
catalogued more than six thousand
skulls at the Royal College of Sur
geons, believes that if the reported
discovery is true, it is the most im.
portant of many years as complete
skulls of pke-historic humans are ex
ceedingly rare, iv.p g ~:t"i:n
“A complete skull of pithecanthro
pus erectus,” she said, “would - be
most valuable for further research
work as it would show the base,
which is lacking in most ancient
rkulls and which is very important
point for anthropologists and in the
investigations frpm#'flhich'thggiémkq

A Word With
the Old Folks
Elderly People Are Learning Importance
of Good Eliminadop.
IN the later years of life there is
apt to be a slowing up of the
bedily functions. Good elimination,
however, is just as essential to the
old as to the young. Many old folks
have learned the value of Doan’s
Pills when a stimulant diurctic to
the kidneys is required. Scanty or
burning passages of kidney secre
tions are often sigfis of improper kid
ney function. In most every com
munity are scores of users and en
dorsers who acclaim the merit of
Doan’s. Ask your neighbor!
