JOHN GLENN More sidewalks wanted on Brandon Mill Road BY DAN WHISENHUNT danwhisenhunt@reporternewspapers.net Residents living along Brandon Mill Road said they’d walk ev erywhere, if they could. But their only option is to walk on the shoulder of the road, and they feel that’s dangerous. Residents representing eight neighborhoods along the road at tended the April 16 City Council meeting and asked council mem bers to give sidewalks on Brandon Mill another look. The residents have formed the Walking Brandon Mill Coalition as a way to bring more attention to their cause, and several of the coalition’s mem bers spoke during the April 16 public comments. But, they say, the density of the development still is too high. Developer JLB Partners on April 9 submitted redesigned plans to the city of Sandy Springs for the project at the intersection of Wieuca and Roswell roads near Chastain Park.
