of Carroll County

Since the
middle of
March, the
Georgia
Department of
Labor (GDOL)
has issued over
$2.4 billion in
combined state
and federal
unemployment
benefits. We have processed 1,597,593
regular initial unemployment claims and
of these claims, 778,330 were valid with
enough earned wages to receive benefits.
Over half a million Georgians have
received a payment from the GDOL in the
past seven weeks.

busy ballot for the June 9th Primary Election. In
addition to presidential preference choices,
there will be a local E-SPLOST Yes/No ques
tion; specific Republican/Democrat party ques
tions; and contested races for State Court Judge,
Carroll County Commission District 5, State
Representative District 18, Carrollton City
Council Ward 1, and Carroll County Board of
