Dawson County Schools Nutrition
offering summer lunches until July 20

The Dawson County Schools Nutrition
program is offering free summer lunches
until July 20.
Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m.
to 12:30 p.m. kids under 18 can get a free
meal and adults over 18 can purchase a
balanced meal for $3.75.
The Seamless Summer Feeding
Program started six years ago during the
economic recession and is funded by the
U.S. Department of Agriculture. The pro
gram seeks to be certain that low-income
children receive nutritious meals during
the summer months when school is not in
session.
On average, 600 meals will be served
every day, with 18,000 meals expected to
be served by the end of summer.
Meals will be served at Dawson County
Junior High School and Rock Creek Park
and must be eaten on site.

No meals will be served during the week
of July 4.

dents at the Dawson County High School Senior Honors Night on May 10.

Humane Society cordial

Anonymous meets at
7:30 p.m. most Thursdays.
The group is a fellowship
of men and women who
share their experience,
strength and hope to
recover from compulsive
sexual behavior.There are
no dues or fees for mem

recovery are welcome.
This is a 12-step program
for people in the
