Peachtree City held its
50th annual Fourth of July
parade on the morning of
July 4. Parade-goers lined
Peachtree Parkway to catch
candy, wave to the proces
sion, and cheer for their fa
vorite floats.
The motorcade of golf
carts and floats consisted of
local businesses, organiza
tions, and elected officials
celebrating Independence
Day. Prizes were awarded to
the top three decorated golf
carts, as chosen by a panel
of judges.
In the evening, Fayette
County residents dispersed
throughout PTC to view the
fireworks display at Drake
Field.
