Tint World celebrated
the grand opening of its
newest Atlanta-area store in
Tyrone Nov. 24-25. Sur
rounded by friends and
family, franchise owner An
tonio Mattei took time to re
flect on his journey to this
life-changing chapter in his
life.
Mattei and his girlfriend
(now fiance) Roxanne
Kaiser were at a crossroads
in their relationship when
they joined the second sea
son cast of Netflix show
“The Ultimatum: Marry or
Move On,” a reality show
where couples are forced to
look at their relationship
and tackle their barriers and
challenges headfirst, ac
cording to Mattei.
After leaving the family
business of McDonald’s res
taurant franchise own
ership, a career he had been
working in for nearly a dec
ade, Mattei says he found
himself floundering. He
began working a sales job
and supplementing income
by tinting windows on the
side, a practice he taught
himself. However, that path
was not leading him to his
desired destination, neither
in his professional nor per
sonal life.
“The format of the [The
Ultimatum] forces us to
dive into the things and the
issues in your relationship,
and one of the problems be
tween the two of us was that
I didn’t really have direc
tion. I wasn’t sure what I
was going to be doing and
the future was pretty uncer
tain. With the pressure of
the show, I had to dig deep
and think hard and truly en
vision a future,” Mattei said.
He says he quickly no
ticed that he had a great op
portunity for success in the
window tinting industry,
especially in the metro-At-
lanta market. The growing
opportunities paired with
the love of working on cus
tomers’ cars led him to Tint
World, where gained the
fuel he needed to get back
on track.
“I really enjoyed tinting
windows and working on
peoples’ vehicles, and I
really liked the franchise
model, and so those two
things together just made
sense,” he explained. “Going
on The Ultimatum made me
focus my energy and made
me use my time more effi
ciently. I realized I needed
to stop messing around and
get my act together, own a

With the help of his new
contacts in the window tint

turned his Tint World fran

a reality in January, and ev

the team working alongside
him.
“We’re extremely family

everything with a family
view. The team takes care of
each other.”
But that mindset does
not stop with the employ
ees, it is extended to the cus
tomers, as well.
“I want people to know if
you come here, we’ll take
care of you,” Mattei ex
pressed.
Tint World, located at

Tyrone, is now open.

PTC Native Moore Addresses the City Ahead of Runoff Election
The city election season is winding down but there is still one race left to decide. On December 5th, I ask
that you go back to the polls and vote for a citizen who has dedicated many hours of volunteer service to this
city. First and foremost, I have a deep passion for our community and a strong desire to make a positive impact.
From being a founding member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church to being at the forefront of city issues for dec
ades. I have been actively involved in various community initiatives and have gained a comprehensive under
standing of the needs and concerns of our residents.
In terms of qualifications, I have a solid educational background in the Human Resources field while working
full-time for Delta Air Lines. My professional SPHR certification was achieved while I was a full-time working
mother. My HR role equipped me with critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. I had to
approach challenging conversations with colleagues while upholding my integrity and the values of Delta. I
am approachable and level-headed and this served me well when dealing with employees. These skills, com
bined with my ability to empathize with others, will enable me to effectively represent the diverse voices and
interests in our unique town. I will work with our city manager and his team to make sure that while our house
holds are paying more for goods and services, our city is also making sound financial choices. We have great
city leadership on many fronts. From our solid EMS leaders to our city managers and their teams, I will be a
supportive member, not someone micromanaging their professionalism.
Furthermore, I have a proven track record of leadership and collaboration. Through my previous roles in
my corporate duties, civic and corporate philanthropies, municipal volunteer work, and all of the leadership
roles in every facet of my children’s education in Peachtree City, I have successfully led teams, built consensus,
and implemented strategies to achieve common goals. I believe that these experiences have prepared me well
for the challenges and responsibilities of the city council.
My village cornerstones that are central to Peachtree City’s unique footprint:
The PTC "Founding Fathers” live-work-play concept still translates today but must be tended to in order to
address progress, traffic, aging infrastructures, and to balance the needs of all citizens. Before Joel Cowan
said he supported me, he wanted to let me know that it was time for the younger generation to take over and
have a clear vision of what the city needed to not become stagnant. He was pleased I was willing to put myself
out there.
Our golf cart-oriented transit makes us revered on a national level, however, we must expand connectivity
from our new middle school to our award-winning high school for example. Our villages have gotten larger,
and we just can’t stick our heads in the sand and ignore those citizens. We must look to the future and embrace
allot our village borders while making golf cart safety a number one priority.
As a city council member, it is important that I prioritize economic development and business retention to
diversify our city’s economy. Peachtree City has a long-standing reputation for being a top economic driver
south of the airport. In order to sustain our economic viability, we must continue to be open to attracting devel
opment. One of the core values of the Mayor and City Council is meeting the needs of the present without
compromising the future. True leadership is listening to all constituents and considering the sustainability of
our community long after we are gone.
Mixed-use development is a means to foster connections, increase our green spaces, and bring vibrancy
to our community. It certainly does not mean apartment complexes or the potential for more traffic, on the con
trary, mixed-use is a common term professionals in cities use to discuss future projects in places that have
stagnated or to connect citizens without compromising green space. While many of our commercial spaces
are privately owned, I am committed to working with past, current, and future businesses to ensure that the
city's shopping and entertainment districts are world-class and meet the needs of our residents.
Lastly, I am committed to transparency, accountability, and ethical governance. I believe that open com
munication and active engagement with the community are crucial for effective governance. I am dedicated to
being accessible and responsive to the concerns and ideas of our residents. I have proven this not just during
the campaign season but for years with over 25 meet and greets, attending dozens of city functions, a candidate
forum, daily posts on social media, and dozens of answered messages to my email and direct messaging for
mats. I am the only candidate uniquely positioned in the community with the ability to achieve results and
answer questions through my past roles in civic engagement. Having grown up here and raising a family, I
know nearly all the stakeholders in the key fields and businesses in the city. From the founding families to the
newest leaders in our city administrative halls, I am plugged in and respected. I was deeply honored to be a
part of a female-led organization that spent countless hours beginning in 2020 to engage our citizens in our
municipal election process and seek future leaders.
I have no axe to grind and am not running on a grievance agenda. We should be lifting each other up and
not tearing each other down. I will not get into back-and-forths that don't lead to success. This city needs vision
and guidance to balance the needs of our aging citizens with our future generation families. Our leaders need
to show pride and teamwork. I am the woman for the job. I can reach across the borders and quiet the divisive
noise that threatens to infect our reputation. I have the support of many leaders, founding families, corporate
and small businesses, and neighbors just like you. I have received so many messages of encouragement and
appreciation for stepping up to represent Peachtree City with pride. I am an independent thinker, and I will
never run my own agenda or hold secret meetings. I am the only candidate who truly understands what the vil
lage concept means in 2023 and what the founding fathers think should happen as we traverse nearly 40,000
citizens. I have met with the stakeholders and listened.
To truly see the plans I am so excited to be a part of and to get more specifics, please go to my website to
find out all about who I am and what I stand for. I would be honored and humbled to receive your vote.
Early voting begins, Monday, November 27th, and the last day to vote at your precinct is Tuesday, December
5th.
I want to give back to the city that has given me so much. I would be the first McIntosh graduate to hold a
city council seat, and I promise not to let you down. I was raised here, and I am raising my family here.
My positive message is one for the generations to come.
Humbly,
Tamara Allen Moore
