It is suggested that some rule be now laid to govern class elections and that all elections ok class olli ccrs be made unanimous, and also that some measure be adopted by which all other elections of what ever nature may be facilitated. We hope the movement will be pushed by those most interested in it, and that some action be taken by the . students to relieve the present con dition of affairs. Some of the leading members of the higher elasscs have been advo cating for sometime a movement by which a better feeling may be en. gendered in the body of students as Several boys received sli a whole, and the utter machine work rics practiced ill class elections and col lege politics generally, may be done away with. It is a fact that there | is not that harmonious feeling ex istiiig which should make iis one body, and that unity of sentiment which is essential to an easy and satisfactory adjustment of all <|iies lions that come up for settlement at the bauds of the students. There has been a wrangle over the elec tion of class officers in each of the four classes, and not till very re ceully diil till* Seniors succeed in electing a corps of officers. This machine work is practiced not only in class elections, but in all o’.ber matters that the students have to set tie, and we ate glad to see the older and wiser heads aiu<mg the students SNOW BALLING. It is seldom we have snow, but the boys certainly make good their opportunity for snow-balling when we do. The great mistake they make however is in carrying it to the extreme. The scene last Mon day afternoon was in (act very dis graceful and is much to be regietlcd. _ lit and a member of the >v school came near losing one i- eyes, and it isn't an assured f. that it will ever be restored natural strength. The student body as a whole i course did not entertain any in i nu against the Law school, nor dm they intend to damage t|ic Imiol i-_- in any manner.
