Dr. Boggs has been absent from
the city this week.
We are glad to see a couple of
well-known ’93 men again with us
They are Greene F. Johnson and
William A Fuller. Both are taking
Law.
Mr. Ulrich B. Phillips, ’97. repre
sented the U. of <ia. chapter of the
A. T. fl- fraternity at their annual
convention in Washington, D. C.,
last mouth.
Mr. John Stellings, 94, spent
part of the holiday season in the
Classic city. John is much inter
ested in Athens.
Mr. Otis Jones, formerly of Mer
cer, has entered ’98.
Mr. Bugh Jones, of ll^e Li. M. I.,
enters ’97. ^ f,
Hi Henry played to one of the
largest houses that has been seen in
Athens for some time, last night.
His show was a rich treat, and for
three hours he and his excellent
company delighted his large audi
ence.
Prof. Itetcher has resigned his
place as tutor, and will now lake
an A. M. the -eat of the term.
Mr. Geo. !S. Crane, l 9f>, has just re
covered from a severe attack of
sickness. His friends are glad to
see him out again.
Jones, ’96, says powder ruins a
cigarette smoke.
The Thulian performance, which
was presented to the people of
Athens just before the holidays, was
t complete success, and the hoys
certainly deserve credit for their
ne work in the theatrical line.

The Y. M. C. A. meeting, last
evening, was conducted hy Mr.
Lewis, the State Secretary, and did
much good among many of the stu
dents. These meetings every Fri
day evening at 7:30 in the Latin
room are always full of interest and
instruction, and every hoy in col
lege should attend them.
Mr. T. F. Smith is with us again,
we are glad to say. Things look
like old times to see ‘‘Big Smith” on
the campus.
Change of hoarding place has
been in order since opening of col-
lege.
Snow hailing was the popular
sport Thursday morning.
Why does Bill Yaney go to the
S.A.L. depot so much ?
Both Literary Societies had fine,
meetings this morning. Several new
men were initialed.
All the boys report having a most
delightful Xmas.
Frank Keen spent a few days at
home this week.
The Sophs take up the study of
Trigonometry Thursday.
Many of the ’!<.’* hoys have not
returned to college yet.
The Seniors take up the study of
Moral Science Monday.
The B.A.G. students can now be
seen on the campus.
