THE NEW TENNIS COURTS
At last tenuis seems to have taken
equal rank with other athletic sports at
the rnivcralty Four new courts now
adorn the campus, and as soon as the
sod catches, will be icady to he played
on. Of course, every one U anxious to
use the courts at once, bntltlsposl-
tivcly necessary that the grass around
the courts should be allowed to take
loot and grow before it in trampled upon
by the players. The beauty of the cam
pus will, we believe, be enhanced by
the courts if they are kept tn good or
der hi spite of the many previously cx-
pressed opinions io the contrary-
Tctinis this year will lw under control
of the Athletic Association. Mr. Drat.
Colvin will see that every member of the
Association is given opportunity to play
on the courts. He Is Imslly engaged at
present hi perfecting arrangements to
give each man equal use of the courts.
