EDITORIAL COMMENT.
It is very much to be hoped
that the Thalian manager will
be able to arrange for the club
the proposed trip to Atlanta,
Macon,Milledgeville and Savan
nah. Such a performance as
the Thulihus will present is one
seldom seen in the State, and if
the matter were properly pushed
by the University alumni and
friends in the towns visited, the
trip should be made distinctly a
financial success. The Ath
letic Association is badly in need
of funds, and no stone should
bw left unturned that promises
to raise even a small amount of

ries of games to be played.)
Such an arrangement has proved
uniformly successful from a fi
nancial point of view in the
case of other teams, and there
is no reason why it should not
be a success in our case. Dur
ing the past football season, the
faculty of Sewanee allowed the
men a certain number of days
as to whether the dues to the
Athletic Association should be
paid January 1st or February
1st, and it was necessary to ad
journ the meeting until the
point could be settled, as no one
knew whether those who joined
the Association last fall were
members or not.

such plan, a trip of perhaps a

not be elected until February

ranged for our team, and still j continue to fill those places un-
the men not lose more time from

case with an athletic team.
Some means must be devised
for avoiding these deficiencies
in future, and the suggestion is
well worth a trial.

Our sister publication, The

WEARING THE 'G. -
Tbore are some few students
who persist in wearing a “G”

Perhaps they do not realize the
injustice they are doing to those
who have won the privilege by
their hard work on the gridiron,
