ized cheering corps, consisting
of ‘250 leather-lunged rooters.
The University of Texas foot
ball teum has not suffered de
feat this season. They will soon
play Auburn.

a comprehensive collection of
Arabic manuscripts,dating hack
to the 12th and 13th centuries.
The collection is valued at
$20,000.
The University of California
is to have a $2,000,000 gymna

made possible by the construc
tion of a movable roof.

leading Southern Universities
was as follows :
Tulaiie, 1141.
Texas, 941.
Vanderbilt, 771.
Virginia, 650.
Virginia is making herculean
efforts to arrange another game
with the V. M. I. Evidently,
the tie gatin' which was recent
ly played is not a source of snt-
faction to the Charlottesville
University.
The Yale Dramatic Associa
tion will present this year an
Elizabethan comedy by Thomas
Hey wood, “Fair Maid of th“
West.” Each part will be as-
signed to three men who will

The Tnrherl, organ of the
University of North Carolina
Athletic Association, remarks
that the game with Georgia
will be easy for the Carolinians.
It will be remembered that the
