Georgia had no more enthusi
astic supporter at Saturday’s
game than Uncle Dave. It was
an inspiring sight when the game with the ring of victory

old Georgia has battled through

tion in our minds we stuck to
our colors, as only Georgia grit
could do it. We showed that
our yells and snugs would ring us
loud and clear on the day of de
feat, us they would on the day of
triumph. We all know what
hard luck we hud lust year, llow
Marvin Dickinson, after one of
our best men after another was
protested, lie would take the
remnants, train them to work
together again, until this had
been done three times. This
was hard and discouraging, hut
we were proud of what was left
of our teum when the season was
ended.
Now we have started with a

us of the faculty’s co-operation

in defeat. Let us hear in mind
that genuine ami enthusiastic

must get right in behind the
team and stay there. There is
