The Tennis Tournament which
opened so auspiciously two weeks
ago is now drawing rapidly to a close. |
at least so far as the singles are con
cerned. The Tournament has had
many entries, and from among these
have developed some splendid play
ers. There are at least half a dozen
men in our midst who would do the
University credit it they should per-

Tournament so far has been a great
success and gives promise of better
things yet to come in the doubles.
There are sixteen entries and nearly
all are skilled players, whose contests
this week are to he looked to with
pleasure.

On Tuesday and Wednesday Night Oct. 30,
one-third of the receipts of the New Amusement Place, Fairy
Land, will be given to the University Athletic Association.
The latest moving pictures and illustrated songs and excellent topical music will be the
program. Ali friends of the University of Georgia are urged to come out and help
the boys, and see a show that cannot be equaled anywhere for the money.
