Corn-Shocking of Chan. Barrow.
A novel entertainment was given
by Chan D. C. Harrow Wednesday
evening in the form of a corn shuck
ing. The corn-shucking was the re
suit of a corn patch ol Mr. Hen. liar
raw. The party enjoyed themselves
until late at lids old time recreation.
Michigan Sophomores have won
their annual banner rush for the
third year. The side succeeding in
“shinning’’ the stout pole to which
the banner is tacked and tearing it
down is declared the victor. A
uni.pie feature of this event is that
the referee overlooks the field from a
seat built on a crossbar attached to
the pole.

to the varsity squad last Saturday
night to see “'The Squaw Man” in
Atlanta alter the Georgia-Tech game.
Mr. Welch is one of the most loyal
supporters Georgia has and is loved
and respected by the student body.
