for non-credit work for adults with
classes to be formed wherever there
was a demand throughout the state.
Problems of guidance were dis
cussed at the meeting and the Divis
ion voted to set up at each Institu
tion an officer to do such work.
Committees were appointed to study
various phases of teacher training,
both professional and academic
courses.

Eight Newcomen Enter Eleven Elected Members
The Lumpkin Lau> School Of International Relations
With eight new students enrolled
In the Lumpkin Law school for the
winter qudk-ter, the total enrollment
has been boosted to 116, according
to a recent announcement by Dean
H. W. Caldwell.
Six additional steel stacks have
been added to the book room adjoin
ing the libary so that it now ac
comodates two thousand volumes.
Harrison Jones, chairman of the J
building committee, has also obtained
extra tables and chairs for the read
ing room and library.

Six juniors and five sophomores
were initiated into membership in
the International Relations club
Thursday night. Ludwell Pierce and
Herbert Sontoff, German exchange
students, were made associate mem
bers.
The students honored were Lane
Timmons, Pratt Adams, Winburn
Rogers, Dan Bowden, Asa Candler,
Frank Bragg, Walter Wise, John
Newton, Richard Winston, Dudley
Magruder, and R. H. Randolph.
Bob Stephens, president of the
club, made a talk on the approach
ing Saar plebiscite. At each meet
ing of the year the club members
will hear addresses anad discussions
on important foreign questions.
