OANG! Bang! And the University will go western in a big way
for the first time when Kappa Alpha fraternity entertains tonight
A heart is in demand, gents, by
the Coordinate women, but alas, Cu
pid plays no part in this game, tor
a wooden heart is the goal!
As a form of tradition at Coordi
nate, this red heart is hidden about
two weeks before Valentine's day by
tiDders of the previous year, who are
in this case, Lutrelle Tift, Tifton,
and Margaret McPherson, Brunswick,
members of the sophomore class.
Freshmen are, therefore, the seek
ers and began their work Wednesday,
but the hiders alternate as the prize
is found. The team still searching
for the treasure on the last day will
concede to the winners with a Val
entine banquet.
All odds seem to point towards
the freshmen, since in previous years
they have been the winners. "Comb
ing Coordinate Campus” might be a
possible slogan for these women
until Feb. 14, at any rate!
with a wild west ball at Woodruff Hall from 9 to 1.
In typical borderland costumes President George Spence, Atlanta,
will lead the grand march with Itannie Geissler, also of Atlanta. A
contest for the two best costumes will take place at 10:45. The Col
legians will furnish the music for the dance and there will be three
no-breaks.
