How YOU can help her
speed vital war calls
WTHEN you’re about to telephone, remember that
v Y the wires—especially Long Distance circuits—are
busier than ever before, with war calls. We can’t build
■ew equipment to carry the load because the materials
we need are going into ships and planes and shells.
Here’s how you can help to keep the lines open for
war calls. Unless your message is really urgent, please
don’t use Long Distance service. But if you must,
please make your calls as short as you can.
Thanksl—we know you’ll be glad to help!
