WUS To Kick Off Fund Drive

The World University Service fund drive will be opened with a
kick-off banquet Nov. H from 5:30 to (i p.m. in Stegeman Hall, Kathryn
Flicks, committee chairman, said'today. Over fiOO persons are ex
pected to attend.
Entertainment for the banquet
will be provided by the Cosmopolitan
Club, under direction of Miss Bally
Hanger, physical education depart
ment. The club Is composed entirely
of foreign students attending the
University.
MIsb Ericks said there would be
no person-to-person fund soliciting
this year. Instead campus organiza
tions are being asked to contribute
as groups. Largest contribution on a
percentage bnsis, coming from any
campus organization, will win the
WUS trophy. Miss Fricks said this Is
the largest trophy on campus. It is
held by Kappa Delta sorority.
The University's contribution last
year represented the largest of any
college In the nation, the chairman
said. All contributions go directly

On Job Possibilities
Three job interviews will be
held next week with officials from
both the IT. S. Defense Department
and private business participating.
All three branches of service will
be represented.

Army Corps will be offered Univer
sity senior women upon graduation
in a session to be held Thursday. A
special program whereby college jun

is attracting attention in the Baldwin Hall lobby. Small figures made
from pipe cleaners and cork floats illustrate pitfalls faced by the
