Varied Festivities To Highlight
Annual Homecoming Celebration
Pep Club Plans Big Parade
For Homecoming Saturday
A big, colorful parade—something new in University Homecoming |
festivities—will be held Saturday, beginning at !! a.m.
Sponsored by Pep Club, the parade i Redcoats; the Angels Flight; the Air

The University’s -loth annual Homecoming celebration this week
end will be highlighted by many and varied festivities. Among top
events planned are a parade, two dances, a football game, u free con
cert and the crowning of Miss Homecoming of 1955.

and the Kaye Choir.

“Sabrina Fair,” to be presented by I

three "Prince Charmings."

nally written for actress Barbara Bel
Geddes. She disliked the script, how
ever, and retired from the cast a few
weeks before opening night. Mar

Pep Rally Planned Tonight
For Tide-’Dog Grid Contest
A pep rally to boost Bulldog spirit j
will be held tonight at 7 o'clock at
the women’s dormitory quadrangle.
It will be sponsored by Pep Club.
A motorcade will begin at Five j
Points at 6:30 p.m. and journey to
the Amphitheatre. Students will
form in front of Myers Hall. Georgia
cheerleaders will be on band to lead
the rally.
Music will be provided by the Pep
Band, a special aggregation formed
by Johnny Demos, Redcoats Band
captain.
