Alpha Gamma Rho’s 78.6 Leads
Fraternities’ Scholastic Averages
Alpha Gamma Itho received top honors in Interfraternity Council
averages for last spring quarter with a 78.fi average.

PI chapter of Delta Sigma PI, na
tional business administration fra
ternity, announced the aelection of
their aweetbeart and now pledges
last week.
Sandra Lewis, Atlanta, Zeta Tau
Alpha pledge, was recently voted
"Rose of Delta Sigma PI" by mem
bers of the organization.
The 12 new pledges to Delta Sigma
Pi are Glenn Pine, Alexander Frame,
Byron Smith, Grady Sapps, Kyle
Lewis, Wayne Murrison, John Har
vey, Jack McDaniel, Melvin Irvin,
Peter McEvoy, Lawrence Pinson and
Brian Mims.
The University chapter also topped
the nation in the National Efficiency
Contest of the fraternity by scoring
more points In the contest than any
other chapter In the nation.
Phi Kappa Tau was next with
77.5 and third honors went to Sigma:
Chi with an average of 76.4. Tied
for fourth place were Alpha Epsilon
Pi and Tau Epsilon Pi, both with
76.3 averages.
Other fraternity averages were:
Delta Tau Delta. 75.8; Kappa Alpha,
75.7; Kappa Sigma, 75.3; Sigma Al
pha Epsilon. 74.8; Chi Psi, 74.8;
Phi Epsilon Pi, 74.7; Phi Delta The
ta, 74.4; Sigma Nu, 74.2; Theta Chi,
73.3; Phi Kappa Phi, 73.1; Alpha
Tau Omega, 72.9; Pi Kappa Alpha,
71.8; Chi Phi, 71.2, and Lambda Chi
Alpha, 70.3 makes the list complete
to give IFC an overall average of
74.5 for the quarter.
The all men's average for the year
was 76.0 and the fraternities receiv
ing honors were Delta Tau Delta,
77.1:Alpha Gamma Rho, 77.0; Phi
Epsilon PI, 76.3; Sigma Chi, 76.1;
Alpha Epsilon Pi, 76.0, and Tau Ep
silon Pi, 75.7.
