Fall Quarter’s
Exam Schedule
The fall quarter examination
schedule has been released by
Dean of Faculties Alvin B. Biscoe.
Any conflicts in the schedule or
requests for changes because of
having three examinations the
same day, or for other reasons,
must be reported to the office of
the Dean of Faculties by Nov. 30.
Classes will meet at the regular
times on Dee. 9. The schedule is

day night at 7:30 o’clock in the
Dairy Building. Initiation ceremonies
for new members will be held.

Dr. Gregor Sebba, economics pro
fessor, will read a paper on “Recent
Changes in Southeastern Farming
and Forestry” at the annual meeting
of the Southern Economic Associa
tion in Atlanta Saturday. The paper
was prepared in collaboration with
Dr. Merle Prunty Jr., geography de
partment head.
Arthur Drexler, curator of the de
partment of Architecture and Design
at the Museum of Modern Art in New
York City, will speak Monday at 8
p.m. in the Chapel. Drexler will speak
on "Aspects of Japanese Architec
ture.” '

Dr. Roy K. Proctor will address
a district Farm Bureau rally Monday
at Fort Valley. He will speak on
’’Georgia’s Changing Agriculture.”
Neirly Formed ABAC Club
To Help Transfer Students
Transfer students to the Univer
sity from Abraham Baldwin Agri
cultural College, Tlfton, have formed
an ABAC Club.
Officers are Frank Miles, presi
dent; Harold Brown, vice president;
Rose Turner, secretary-treasurer;
Lorene Manning, publicity; Jimmy
Clark, program chairman; Eleanor
Inman, social chairman, and T. L.
Frazier, advisor.
The club was organized to help
students with problems resulting
from their transfer and also to pro
vide socials, Miles said.
There are 37 members in the club.
Meetings are held on first and third
Monday nights at 7:15 o'clock in
Dawson Hall.
Pharmacists’ Trip To End
Sixty pharmacy students and fac
ulty members will return tomorrow
from a five-day trip to Indianapolis
and Chicago where they visited lead
ing pharmaceutical firms. Faculty
members accompanying the students
are Cliff Brewton and F. Ford Milli
kan.
