Georgia’s varsity tennis team
tamed a Wildcat team from Ken
tucky 8-1, Saturday, but lost three
other matches during last week’s ac

The three losses were to Cincin

Friday, 7-2, and Presbyterian this

Big Joe Manderson led the team
in all four matches with wins in
important pairings. Against Cin

their number one player, John Klein,
G-S, 8-6, and 9-7. He topped his op

in the number two position.
His last two triumphs came fairly
easily against PC and Kentucky al
though he was slightly extended in
the former match, 6-3, 6-3.
Other winners for Georgia in the
Cincinnati match included Charles
Cowart, Guy Arnall, and Zuhair
Nejlb.
In the Kentucky contest the Bull

and Arnall, Nejib, Hill Griffin, Scott
Henson and Manderson conquered
their foes in single matches.
The team will piny Auburn today
at the latter’s home courts.
This action will be the only

This airplane is actually a flying
classroom. The course taught in it
is Air Navigation, under real con

men who have been selected as pos

space Team. Graduation after 32
weeks of training will win each of
the students the honored silver
wings of an Air Force Navigator
and an Officer’s Commission.
For certain young men, this
training can open the way to a 1
bright career of executive poten-J
tial. Right now the Air Force is
scoring impressive technological
advances in the fields of naviga-J
tion, guidance and tracking, elec-;
tronics and radar. And here is
where its highly trained and expe
rienced Navigators will beexpected
to take over command positions of.
^increasing responsibility.
To qualify for Navigator train-'
ing as an Aviation Cadet, you must
be between 19 and 26J^—single,
healthy and intelligent. And you
