Transfer Aid Guide
Holds First Meeting
Organization meeting for the
Transfer Aid Guide program for the
1960-61 school year was held Tues
day, April 26, at 4 p.m. in Dawson
Hall.
Carol Watrous, chairman of the
TAG program for the coming year
presided over the meeting. The pur
pose of TAG, which was begun in
1957, is to help transfer students
become acquainted with life at the
University.
Miss Margaret Singleton, coordi
nator of women's residences and ad
visor for the group, expressed a hope
that the TAG program for the com
ing year would be “a perpetuating
organization" rather than just a
guide through fall quarter orienta
tion week as it has been in the past.
Membership in the TAG organiza
tion may be applied for by filling
out an application which may be ob
tained at the counselor's office in
| Center Myers or the dean of wom-
1 en’s office.
