The University of Georgia Merry-
go-round, the annual Activities Fair
designed to acquaint new students
with the activities of the University,
will he Tuesday, October 4 front 3
to 6 p.m. at Woodruff Hail,
Members of Mortar Board, honor
ary organization for outstanding
women students which Is sponsoring
the event, will serve as guides.
Miss Delores Artau. faculty ad
visor for tint group, said the fair was
designed to show new students that
there is an organization in which
every student on campus can partici
pate.
Booths sponsored by 22 campus
organizations will display their vari
ous projects and activities at the
fair. Campus publications, musical
groups, the dramatic society, religi
ous organizations and service clubs
will sponsor booths and tables.
The Merry-go-round theme for the
displays will be carried out with a
carousel motif In the center and
wooden horses placed among the dis
plays.
Everyone is urged to attend and
door prizes will be given, added Miss
Artnu.
